Am very concerned about lots of my software apps (for work), which run great on Win 2000 and would probably have run also on XP, but may not run on Win7. Just cannot afford to replace them and many cannot even be upgraded except at great cost. All bad news as far as I am concerned! Am running Win 2000 Pro - never dared go to Vista!Missed the boat for XP!

Any advice plz. There's a handy icon in the taskbar for quick access to network connectivity, including several wizards for joining an existing network or creating a new "homegroup". @Haneef: I intend switching to 64 bit computing next year when I purchase new hardware. I do agree that drivers can be a problem, especially for older devices. I find the 64 bit much more stable.
