Their school bags weight more than my couch and in the Durban climate my bookshelf is slowly disintegrating. The costs of books in this country (SA) is robbery because of the import duties.On a personal level the new Kindle seems like the ideal solution..We would also be helping the environment. However, it seems like either we are not ready for the Kindle or the Kindle is not ready for SA?? The question is do I wait until using and buying Kindle /Kindle books is as easy as it is in the US.
